Frau Priska Baumgartner and Frau Katja Fritzsche take care of our two cats and our apartment (plants, etc) when we're away, and we've been very pleased with their work. They also seem to be familiar with the vets in the region, which provides an extra peace of mind. We recommend them highly. Details of their (geographical) area of service can be found on their website. One potential downside is that they don't speak English. Mainly an animal shelter for homeless animals, they also board cats and dogs. I have no personal experience with them, although I did visit them once to check out the facility. During my visit, several people came in who appeared to be repeat customers. The people who were on duty were happy to show me the cat kennel areas, and answer my questions as best as they could. We boarded three cats with Frau Maja Spiess soon after arriving in Switzerland from the US. It was a very pleasant experience for us (and for the cats, to some extent). One of the cats required special medical attention and Frau Spiess was able to take care of him very well. [zc]
